What happens after you join

You will be contacted by an Amigo.

  • The Amigo program was formed for the following purposes:
  • To help orient new members into the Chapter.
  • To make new members feel comfortable and at home.
  • To encourage them to become active members.

The Amigo program has played an active role in the growth of our organization through the years. Parents Without Partners has always believed something to get new members over their initial hesitation. The Amigo program is a way to get new members to realize that the organization NEEDS them as much as they NEED us.

The primary reason for the orientation program is to ease the transition from NEW member to INVOLVED member. By forming the Amigos, new and fuller meaning is given to the Spanish word for friend.
